Teaching kindergarten virtually has had its share of challenges and triumphs. Students in class are learning to read with success, however, teaching writing and fine motor skills virtually has been a challenge. This project will provide every student with writing supplies to keep at home. Our district is currently remote and has been for the entire school year so far. We had a generous parent donation of white boards and markers to get the students started, but the markers are starting to get lost and dried out. I will use these supplies to create laminated mats that students will use to trace and do other activities.
