Teaching in a school with 97% Inupiaq Eskimos has taught me a few things about creative problem solving. My students and there culture are highly skilled at creating solutions to the problems that arise. I am hoping to foster that creativity through the use of technology, sort of bringing the old ways and new ways together. This 3-D printer technology will be used to design and create everything from innovative solutions to problems to trophies for tournaments. The students will be learning how to code and design objects and then bring them to life with the use of a 3-D printer. I am super excited about the possibilities that may arise from being able to bring ideas to life. The whole school will benefit from this project, and I believe it will be a great addition to our school and the resources we have available to make learning exciting. Thank you again for considering our project.
