Every good restaurant needs to have a place to order food and with the items I have chosen, my students will have the ability to take in-person orders as well as remote orders from a website designed by our computer department.
Basic knowledge of operating a successful restaurant will come with these important Point of Sale Items. The students will learn how to input a menu with specific modifiers, making change, profit and loss on the day, week, month, and school year. They can keep an inventory of items, creating perpetual inventories, understanding top food sellers(menu keepers) as opposed to items that lost us money or just cost too much.
Our program relies on our student-run cafe business to sustain itself for the entire school year.
