Our cougars are resilient and hardworking young musicians. Our students face many challenges at home, which we work through together in the Band and Choir classrooms. You can't mask our love for music!
A classroom set of ukuleles will give our students a safer, less restricting, and more accessible way to make music. Ukuleles will give special education students an access point to musical performance that they might not otherwise have the ability to experience. All students will be able to make music in a comfortable and safe way due to COVID-19 regulations. Band instrument covers and choir face shields, special masks, and 15 foot distancing has made it hard for us to learn and rehearse in traditional ways. It's time to get creative and spread joy through ukulele music!
In a year of uncertainty, missed opportunities, and limitations, your donation will give us the chance to keep the music alive for all students! We can't wait to learn, practice, perform, and share our love for music in a new way!
