My 4th grade students need a gift. We have been at-home learning since August and will continue to do so through the rest of the year. But not just any gift, they need a real life book.
Earlier in the year, we read the first book from the series, The Bad Beginning, and the kids loved it. We have since read other novels, but nothing so far has lived up to Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. So, not only do I want to give the kids a chance to read another one of his books, but I want to give the kids the excitement of owning an actual copy. My plan is to deliver each of the books one-by-one, and try to create similar excitement to getting books at a book fair. Remember how fun and exciting that was?!?
