These new instruments will give students the chance to sharpen their musical skills, make music together, and have fun! After decades of enthusiastic music-making, some of the current classroom instruments are torn up and worn down, presenting the constant possibility of splinters (ouch!) and sub-par musical tone. On top of that, constant cleaning for COVID safety has worn off varnish and further degraded the instruments' conditions.
Students across K-5 will enjoy new instruments whose improved condition, appearance, and tone encourage enthusiasm and musicality! These instruments are used on a daily basis by at least one grade level, and often more than that. Students work hard every day in my music class, and they deserve the instruments to keep pace with their efforts!
