Students over the past year and a half have had limited hands on opportunities to build, collaborate, and create due to COVID. These classroom tools will give my students hands on learning and accelerate their academic skills in STEM. My students will also learn to work with other peers and problem solve solutions for various challenges. They will learn that when an idea doesn’t work it is an opportunity to learn, not to give up and develop a growth mindset (while having fun!). This focus on social emotional growth in the classroom will provide them with strategies to take academic risks in all subjects.
