For my project, my class is in need of some comprehension reading games to apply what they have learned in reading. It will be a fun way for them to review with each other. I also would like to have a set of reading and math Bingo games so that we can review concepts as a class, besides always doing pen and paper. Both the reading comprehension and Bingo games will help us apply our learning in different ways.
We could also use the Math Quick sets to have them work on multiple different skills during Math centers. Since we are charting new waters now in education, I have had to find resources that have worked virtually or for in-person school. With that being said, I have used the Teachers Pay Teacher website a lot and have found it very helpful, so a gift card to purchase some resources would be helpful for my class.
We could also use different sets of novels to read. At the beginning of the year I am always amazed after reading different books how excited the students get when you read a book with them and they get to discuss and take part in the story. If I got the two sets of books(Third Grade Angels and How Not to Start Third Grade), we could all have a book in our hand and we could read those together. All of these resources and items will be able to be used not just this year, but, for years to come! Thank you!
