My students use technology daily whether learning face to face or virtually. We are currently operating on a hybrid schedule. I'm frequently recording materials so my students learning at home can properly receive instruction. Showing my screen is very important when teaching a lesson via video. Having an additional screen set up in my classroom that functions with my laptop would help me in delivering that instruction.
It would also be beneficial to students that are learning face to face. An additional monitor set up would allow me to move throughout the room and operate a smart slate at the same time. Currently, I'm limited in my ability to move throughout my classroom and operate the smartboard. Writing on the board is easy, however, the students have a difficult time seeing the information, and I have a difficult time making sure they are getting what they need because I'm at the board.
