The materials that I am asking for would make a huge difference in the daily lives of my students. To start off, we need book shelf/benches that would greatly help my students to find a cozy place to read. I have found that when students get to sit somewhere "special" to read, they are more motivated to dive right in and get lost in the book. Currently, I only have four beach chairs for my students to use. The chairs are about to fall apart and it always causes arguments on who gets the chairs. By having more options for Reader's Workshop, my students will be more motivated to read because they will be in a spot that will help them be successful in their learning.

As for the white board, I had one this past year that my students loved. Unfortunately, the white board easel was so well loved and used that it fell apart. I know for sure that my students would love another white board so they can let their creative juices flow!
