The requested iPads will give my students the opportunity for more individualized instruction. I teach a classroom of 12 students from grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade who are diagnosed with various disorders such as intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder. The majority of my students require 1:1 instruction which is challenging due to the limited number of staff members. When my aid and I are working with individual students, I can have other students work on educational apps. My students would be able to practice their letters, sounds, numbers and 1:1 correspondence as well as gain more independence.

About my class
