This will help my students because they will be able to be motivated to read since they are books that they can read on their own. My goal is to have these books, so that it can help students with sight words. These books can also be related to the topics they are learning in reading and science. These books will also tie into phonics lessons so that the students are able to make connections between reading with me and their curriculum that their classroom teacher is teaching. These books can also help teach basic reading comprehension skills. The books will be used in small groups with 3-6 students.
