My current third grade students are all part of a Title One performing arts school in Georgia. The students who I serve are enrolled in the regular education side of this school. My students are low to middle income and many are from single parent homes. Many of my students are below grade level and need immediate intervention in reading and math. Additionally, their critical thinking skills are minimal and the need to provide engaging options to aid in their development is crucial. My plan is to boost intrinsic learning so that students become self motivated to learn more and learn to become responsible for their own learning regardless of their circumstances.
