These materials will help my students learn how to count money and tell time as this is a requirement for them when they take the state test. It will also help with everyday life skills and provide great hands on experience for them. The students will also use these items in their learning centers inside the classroom to allow for more peer teaching and learning. Students at this age tend to grasp concepts quicker when they are able to have hands on experiences using different manipulatives. This project will definitely allow for my students to shine in more ways than one.
