These materials will make a world of difference in my inner city classroom. Students will be able to choose a comfortable seat through flexible seating to help them learn each day. Students will also be able to use the materials such as tens frames and journals to help them succeed and learn in first grade. Book bags are a great way to help students take responsibility for their books & will also teach them to care for the books in our class library. I strive to make my class fun & welcoming and I believe adding these materials to my class will help with this goal.
