These materials will help my students expand their knowledge. They will get to read about more things outside of their textbooks. I would like my students to see all different types of people, animals, places, and things that they are not used to.
Students will use these materials in small groups, partner reading, and individual time with the teacher. They will get to practice reading with other classmates and out loud with the teacher. During small group and individual meetings with their teacher, the students will work on comprehension skills while answering questions about the stories they have read.
