Students on the spectrum learn much more through their hands and a variety of sensory experiences. With my current budget, I haven’t been able to provide these things for my students before now. Having a sensory/light table for my room will add yet another layer to their education and help me reach my students in a way I haven’t been able to before now. Not only are these things going to academically beneficial, but many students find these sensory experiences calming and it will help me give them another way to process and work through big feelings they may be having.
