The game used to play will improve foundational skills in basic math operations. Further, it will improve social skills and cooperative learning. With all students coming back to school very soon, I would like to provide opportunities that focus on learning math, reviewing basic standards, and improve the cooperative learning atmosphere.
The S'Math game will engage 4 students at a time and the game can last from 30-45 minutes. Once all students have made two rounds of equations, I can take a picture and project it on the smartboard to have a mathematical discussion - a salient requirement of math process skills as recommended by N.C.T.M
Once we get fluent in this game, I can publish the results in MCPSS T.V to show the achievement of my students and as a thank-you note to ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½.
