As a first year teacher, my classroom lacks the necessary organizational materials to hold my student's learning tasks. My classroom is a special education classroom that relies on hands-on learning materials, adapted work, laminated and Velcro work, and fidget toys. These materials will help my students keep their work and items in a safe, familiar place. Adapted work takes up more space than traditional pen and paper work, so these organizational bins will help keep the adapted work in an accessible space for students.
Each student will have access to their work in their own set of drawers, as well as independent error-less work in photo boxes, and pencils and supplies in their own pencil case.
