My fourth-grade students will be super excited and motivated to earn classroom economy money, "Brewer Bucks," when realizing these amazing incentives are available to be purchased in our classroom store. They also will gain real-world experience in dealing with money and economic decision-making. However, the most powerful and yielding result will be higher academic achievement levels, especially literacy, that students will carry on through life. Many of my students will never have the opportunity to get these desired items. These incentives will bring true delight and joy to their hearts and motivate them to listen in class, participate in discussions, read books to reach our 100 Book Challenge, and be a positive influence at school.
