The materials, supplies, and sensory items I am requesting for my classroom can all be used to ensure a smooth transition throughout the academic school year. Being a special education teacher, my classroom is designed to promote differentiation and creativity to ensure each individual student is getting the most potential out of my various teaching styles. Items such as a three-tier cart with wheels, will make transferring supplies and materials to each small group easier and smoother. Items such as a small sand table can be provided for students needing some time to reflect on their social/emotional needs throughout the day. With your generosity, I can create a classroom where students can feel right at home.
