Many of my students will be coming back to school from virtual learning in over a year. Seating options, like the balls and disks, allow my students to activate their core muscles, providing physical movement even when sitting. The chair bands work with the student’s physical movement needs. Items like the mirrors allow students to watch their own mouths make the correct shape for letter production. Items like the Velcro give both a soft and hard tactile feel.
Each of my students have unique learning and sensory processing needs that will be even more important in a new and unfamiliar environment.
The other items will allow my students to easily access any needed materials and have a place to store them when they are finished.
