Kids love animals and in kindergarten, each letter of the alphabet is tied to a special animal that kids sing songs about, do art work with, etc. to associate letters and their sounds. Now, imagine sitting on the carpet as a young student and anticipating what animal friend you are going to meet today that is going to help you learn letter names and sounds. All of a sudden, Henry Horse pops out of the screen with this programs 3-D technology to bring letter Hh alive! Letter's Alive is an evolutionary phonics program that brings learning to life. The full year of lesson plans will take my students on a zoo tour with twenty-six, 3D, augmented reality animals; tying science in with literacy instruction. Students will hear, see, touch, build, and speak while enjoying a positive and interactive learning experience that is proven to boost student engagement and increase literacy scores. As a parent, I would be amazed with this program and excited that my child is receiving engaging, innovative, and being educated through twenty-first century learning modalities. As a teacher, I would be excited to offer high-quality instruction and meet the kindergarten standards through this amazing technology program.
