Dramatic play is a crucial part of a child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. It teaches self-regulation, conflict resolution, and encourages their ideas. Preschool age children should be encouraged to participate in dramatic play. A new kitchen center will allow my students to act out scenarios from the real world. With these new materials students can grow in their ability to coordinate with others, work as a team, use their imagination, use their social skills, and plan and organize together. Please help give my students this important opportunity to experience this type of play.
