I am a first year teacher, and will be teaching 6th grade ELA/SS! The majority of my students live at or below the poverty line and I want my classroom to have a massive classroom library full of books that are as exiting and diverse as they are. The books donated will go right into my classroom library, and then into my students hands. It is so important that my students can identify with characters in books, and the books I have chosen will make a wonder addition to their lives! I know the profound impact a great book can have, so I am hoping to change my students lives one book at a time :)
