My students are great thinkers and hard workers. They attend a Title 1 school where there is a high poverty rate and a high free and reduced lunch rate. My students overcome many personal obstacles just to attend school and they do not take their education for granted. They come from hard working families and the majority of my students had to learn English as a second language.
