The two chapter books I have selected as reading material is relatable to the students I teach. The characters in these books are roughly the same age as the students reading them and face some of the same hardships. This will help to keep my students engaged as they learn and master the different reading standards for fourth grade. TIME for Kids is a wonderful way for students to guide themselves on today's issues and current events. This subscription may lead students to be more active citizens while they learn the challenges that face the country and the world.
