Watercolor ME!
The water color paints and supplies will be used by our kindergarten students to first paint themselves. As we have started the school year off learning about each other, I want them to have the opportunity to paint a self portrait. A painting that shows them. All of them. Smiling without their mask on. I will display their portraits for the school year and then they will become a part of their portfolio to take home at the end of the school year.
After we paint ourselves, we will have the resources to paint all kinds of fun things in our curriculum. Currently we are learning about trees. We could paint fall colors in our community garden. We could paint each other (on paper...let's be clear, it is kindergarten...), animals in habitats, letters, and illustrate out own books.
