Students will gain first hand opportunities to experience robotics from the listed resources, especially the Robotics workshop. There are numerous projects that can be created as well from the materials that were selected. After building, the students will perform tasks in which they will apply real life applications such as problem solving. The ability for my students to engage in critical thinking through tasks that allow them to understand the functionality of the different sensors and parts is priceless. For instance, one of my units require students to study and build different types of bridges. The K'Nex Intro into structures will be the perfect resource to help students understand bridge construction through hands-on opportunities to build bridges. Additionally, the solar kit and motors kits will be perfect for students when exploring the engineering design process. These materials can be used by all of my students from the beginners to the more advanced technology students.
