The books that were chosen as a part of this project include a variety of topics, characters and situations. I am excited to put these books on my shelves as to spark new interests in my students. These students deserve to see themselves in the books that they are reading. With this new diverse library, students have a great chance to find characters to relate to. I have also included Magna Tiles in my wish list in order to encourage creativity in the classroom during unstructured free time. Students deserve the opportunity to discover themselves in a wide variety of ways in the classroom!
