Scholastic Action magazine will allow my students to learn about topics that are socially/emotionally relevant to their age group, but written at a grade level that is not intimidating to students who are differently-abled.
I have used this magazine with prior classes and the students really loved the articles and being able to complete online assignments.
The students I teach are amazing humans. However, finding reading materials that they actually like and have fun with can be challenging. Scholastic Action will help me to encourage them to get hooked on reading, which will help to boost their academic achievement as well as their self-confidence.
