Being a first year teacher, it has been difficult to ensure that I have all of the materials my students need to succeed.
All of the items on my list are to bring student excitement back into education, whether that is to allow for hands-on activities, engaging group work, or even just simply a means to keep them focused and ready to learn. The whiteboards, easel, and clipboards are to allow my students to effectively work in different small group settings and in different areas within my classroom. Additionally, the fidget dice game is a fun way to bring math into math workshop settings through a math game that they may not fully recognize as being learning at first. The LEGO set is to help the students learn problem solving skills through building and getting their hands on objects to see which ways it is best to construct things and find beauty in the struggle. Lastly, the fidget bands are to help my students who have the need to move and wiggle. I have a few students who just need something to keep them focused and ready to learn, and I believe that the desk fidget bands may be just the thing!
Thank you for taking the time to look at my project, if there is anyway you can help my students and me reach our goal, I would greatly appreciate it, and I can only imagine how excited they would be as well!
