This project is a whole school read for grades K-5. The book, Lemonade Wars, focuses on real world experiences that students will use in their daily lives. The book is about a brother and sister rivalry of who can sell the most lemonade and make the most money. The book promotes literacy engagement, critical thinking skills, mathematical reasoning and economics.
To culminate the reading of this book, students will participate in a Market Day where they will have a chance to sell and buy products from their peers! Real World!
