I teach intensive math for middle schoolers that need additional math supper with differentiated instruct and engaging lessons. We use small group lessons to achieve this with little resources available. Having the ability to use a portable interactive whiteboard for students to fully engage in learning math would be a huge help. I currently use scratch paper or handheld whiteboards in small groups because the only whiteboard available in the classroom hasn’t worked since I moved into the classroom. For math, this isn’t the most ideal situation. An interactive whiteboard would allow me to project a lesson for the students to engage in from any white board.
