I am the middle school learning support teacher for my school. While my school is fabulous, it is simply very outdated in the sense that we are still working with ancient chalkboards. It is oodles more efficient to have white board access, and so I am hoping to cover my chalkboard with the white board. This will allow for us to engage more effortlessly with one another, especially when I am teaching math.
Not only is is much more efficient for the kids to work with white boards versus chalk, it allows for a cleaner environment and quicker transition from one problem to the next.
