I have discovered through my 30 plus years of teaching, that my Hockey Unit is the most fun and active. Even the most reserved student that is hard to get motivated, is fully engaged when they have a hockey stick in their hands. Students learn safety first and how to move the ball around. We then spend quite a bit of time on passing and creating open space. Hockey is a fast paced, fun activity that gets the students heart rate up and teaches the students how to work as a team.

About my class
