I really want to focus on literacy this year with my students. Having these materials will help me teach during my reading and writing workshop where students will work in small groups with me. With these hands on materials, students will be able to practice their letters and sounds. Furthermore, as my kindergarteners learn their letters and sounds, they will also be able to practice CVC words and blends. Also, I want to send home books in the bags for students to read at home which will promote their literacy skills!
