Last year with so many students choosing remote learning or when we directed to remote learning, my students had access to food throughout the day because they were at home. Now that we are all back in person the demand for snacks is even greater as my students families have been heavily impacted by Covid-19.
Access to snacks for each student can help to ensure they can pay attention in class better than no snack at all. My policy at school is that not one of my students should ever be hungry at school, there is no reason for it.
