My students are becoming leaders in the agricultural field by planting and harvesting fresh vegetables from our school gardens. With the Loop Hoes, students will be able to weed their vegetable garden better by making sure all the roots of the weeds are removed with minimal effort. By making sure all the roots of weeds are out of the garden, students ensure that the full nutrients of the soil go into their own crop.
Students learn both the pitfalls and success of farming. Students gain knowledge by completing this year long project and then bring that home to their own home gardens.
