I work with seven other fourth grade teachers at a Title I school, which means that we service economically disadvantaged students. Despite their hardships, they are always putting forth their best effort with a smile. We want to give our children an opportunity to enjoy an hour-long art session once a week.
Our school has not had an art class in well over a decade; through your donation we are able to bring them a modernized experience of 21st century digital and traditional art!
Children will be able to paint creatively using watercolors, chalk pastels, scratchboards, and digital art. Children will be able to experience and learn how to use technology to create works of art. Our art club team consists of four teachers who do this because we value our students' creative abilities and want to see them excel. Each of us will be taking a small group to teach our students how to use each medium and allow them to be creative.
