These materials will be used to supplement small group reading instruction in a Special Education classroom. The Boogie Boards add a fun element to sound, word, and sentence dictation which is an integral part of their Reading program. I currently only have one that the students take turns with. The larger Boogie Board will be used to show children words for phonemic awareness drills as well as demonstrate marking up words to illustrate phonemic concepts. The remaining materials are to support rhyming, sight word recognition, and supplement their current reading program.
