The books in this project will help create a quality collection of award winning illustrators and children favorites. In addition, a majority of these books are part of the Washington Children's Choice Picture Book Awards program. Students are encouraged to read or listen to the stories, discuss the literature and illustrations and finally get to have their voice heard by voting on their favorite book out of the collection.
By donating to our project, you will help students share their voice in literature. Each week a book will be focused on, allowing students to learn about the author and illustrator and the theme of the book. There are so many diverse books that let students see themselves in these stories and nothing is more exciting than being a part of voting for your favorite book!
