Third through fifth graders will be learning ukulele technique. They will learn how to strum different rhythms, and how to play different chords. This age group thrives in the project based learning style of content instruction, and LOVES hands-on manipulatives. We will be learning to play "Lime in the Coconut," "I Lava You," and "Shake it off" among other songs.
For them, learning to play an instrument that they don't normally have access to will create a positive and exciting learning experience that allows them the joy of musical success in the elementary music classroom! Plus, it's FUN!
