These dual view microscopes will bring science to life right before my students' eyes! With these tools, we would monitor the growth of microbes by obtaining swabs of different objects in the school. What's really on that doorknob? Spooky!
Students would also be able to view the microecosystem in the pond water we collect during our annual water testing field trip. This activity activates students' imagination when they see the live protists swimming in the water. What else could be lurking in our everyday environment?
Engaging students in science at an early age opens up a whole new world of possibilities for their future.
