A beginning sewing class was deleted from our course offerings when the teacher retired. This life skill is applicable to many different applications. Both hand sewing and machine sewing will be offered to students interested in those skills. We have gotten sewing machines refurbished but lack the basic tools to begin sewing. Being able to sew is a skill that can be used throughout one's life. We would like to reintroduce this subject teaching to give students the ability to problem solve, design personal projects, manual dexterity, and overall positive experience and satisfaction.
