The cubes are so much more than a toy to a gifted student; they are a tool for the development of a growth mindset and team building skills. Learning to solve a Rubik’s Cube provides the tools for them to problem solve, create Mosaic exhibitions, and challenges your visual spatial sense and mathematical thinking. Now I wish to use the cubes a team cube solving contest at our school and to introduce students to the world of mosaics. Both of these activities will provide students with opportunities to work with others, build their confidence and inspire others.
