My students are kindergarteners who have never had the chance to be in a learning environment like school. They have to diversify their learning as they get used to learning without as much technology. As we work on their skills, my students need headphones to practice their listening and identify what they are learning, and even practice some of their skills online.
Students love to go on their district chrome books to learn math and literacy as they are disguised as games. Our students need your help with developing their listening skills during this learning time. Students are having trouble without headphones comprehending what they hear. Kindergarteners are trying very hard to learn sight words that they can identify but also need listening skills. The listening portion gives them a chance to understand what they need to know and do.
My students love the virtual learning time we have during the day. They are learning how to type in their password on their own and get so excited to learn something new. The students in my classroom also love making arts and crafts as I told them we will find more ways to learn online for them at school and at home.
