STEM has grown in popularity over the years. Schools in more affluent neighborhoods have sufficient STEM supplies for their students. My school has a deficiency in STEM supplies and manipulatives. Therefore, students in underrepresented schools like mine rarely gain an interest in STEM because they have never been introduced to or grown an appreciation or value for STEM activities. These LEGO sets and manipulatives will be used to as learning tools for my students to learn more about STEM. Students will delve into STEM activities and grow a strong appreciation for Science, Math and Literacy.
