Flexible seating allows students choices. We all like choices and choice empowers our learners to take ownership of their lessons. Flexible seating teaches our students advocate skills, decision making skills and teaches them to self-reflect. They must make a decision on which seating arrangement and location will best serve them during various student activities.
Traditional-styled desks are not compatible with the skills necessary for us to produce career and college ready students. Students need a place to feel comfortable and like they have a choice. Help me create that in my classroom with the requested flip-top flexible seating.
