My busy first-grade students are excited to learn! I want to foster a classroom where students feel empowered and safe.
I would love to utilize a mobile teaching easel to help students focus on our lessons anywhere in the room. This would allow our class to demonstrate our learning with ease and have everything we need to be successful throughout our class. Flexible seating allows students to be responsible for their learning wherever they are with comfort and ease. Having seating options for my scholars to learn is an important consideration for learners with diverse needs and wiggly bodies. Finally, headphones are important for a home and school connection to assist my scholars with another aspect of their learning. Currently, my learners are using a few borrowed headphones but often they are working without which can create a noisy atmosphere that overwhelms students and distracts others from work. We use headphones for testing and other aspects of our day and they are an integral part of our classroom.
Thank you so much for considering my amazing scholars and helping them to have things that will help them grow their hearts and minds.
